Over 25 years ago, Don joined a small Utah Based software company that was developing a package named “Dimensions” it was a full “line of business” application for Lumberyards, Hardware Stores and others in the Building Material Retailer industry. As the Hardware Installation person, he traveled the country, installing systems and training people how to use the software. It was a learning experience for all parties involved as he learned the Lumber business. For over 16 years, Don worked with the Company, eventually heading up the entire Network Services group, ensuring that systems all over the country were installed with a consistent set of standards that conformed to industry best practices. During several years of Mergers and Acquisitions, the nature of the organization changed and Don ultimately parted ways with the large organization. Don established Applied Integration with the express intent of continuing his path of bringing consistent, professional IT Services to the vertical market he had enjoyed serving for so many years. As Applied Integration began to grow, the profits were poured directly back into the Company, enabling investments in the best tools the industry provides for effective, efficient management of large numbers of machines with a relatively small, highly trained team of IT Professionals. Our methodology has continued to be focused on providing solutions to Lumber and Building Material Retailers across the country and a large percentage of the Customers being serviced today have been customers since the beginning.
