- Specific Function Servers -

As the business process evolves, so too do the systems that must be deployed to support these new processes.  Document Management systems are but one example of a specific function server that may be added to your collection of major systems.  Hosting Email and your Web Site on dedicated internal servers may make both economic and functional sense to your company. These systems may be based on the Windows 2003 Server operating system, or other systems such as Linux or Unix.

In many cases, we've found that these machines have been sold and initially installed by the major software supplier servicing the business, but the installation has lacked the thorough follow-through and implementation necessary to completely integrate these systems.

As the day to day usage and dependence upon these machines grows, they must be fully integrated and maintained with the same "mission critical" eye as the core Point-of-Sale application server.  We understand this need for management of these systems, and are prepared to help get these systems under control.

Growing capabilities in remote access and remote monitoring and administration of these types of servers allows us to leverage our skills across a large number of diverse servers installed in many different locations.  By monitoring these servers at the core operating system level, we can not only monitor such critical things as security and virus protection, operating system patch installation and maintenance, disaster recovery and hardware troubleshooting, but we can also assess the performance of these critical systems and help plan for growth as the demands of your growing business grow.
